Month 1

Day 1  Did Burn Circuit 1 from Chalean Extreme (CLX).  LOVED IT!  I do need to get some heavier weight though.  Nutrition mostly went well, until dinner.  Uggghhh, need to learn to say no to my husband.  I took Before shots today.  Oh my I still look prego.  I honestly had no idea.  Take photos on your journey, they are eye opening.

Day 2  According to the CLX calendar day 2 is a no sweat day, so I followed it since I'm just getting started.  In the future I think I will add some Turbofire or extra ab work or both :)  Did great nutrition wise until dinner again.  Fully intend to tell my husband no to his crazy cravings tomorrow.  Wish me luck!  I'm a work in progress.

Both days I drank 1/2 a serving of chocolate Shakeology for breakfast and a full serving of Tropical Shakeology for an afternoon snack.  I like knowing I'm getting all the nutrition I would not have gotten in my normal diet.  Even with all the money and time and calories it is hard to fit in all your vitamins and minerals.  This shake helps me do that.

Day 3  CLX Burn Circuit 2...even better than BC1. I missed weights terribly. Glad to be back together again. Nutrition was relatively good. Didn't sneak in anything too bad :) Feel great!!!!

Day 4  CLX Burn Interval, Ab Burner, and Extreme Abs. So stinkin' sweaty. I love it. I was technically only supposed to do Ab Burner today, but out of curiousity I did the Extreme as well. Added up to about 25 minutes of abs, which is good since abs is what I'm looking for. I liked them both. You can modify all the moves from beginner to super duper athlete. This will work forever. Nutrition was fine today. No major misteps. Did not have my Shakeology the last 2 days, but I am starting back up in the morning.

Day 5  Burn Circuit 3 today is done! This program is making me want to workout. I like working out and how it makes me feel, but sometimes finding the motivation at the end of the day to just push play can be overwhelming. Having a 4 month old has made working out more of a challenge than I had ever imagined. I assumed having a baby would be time consuming but honestly finding time has been rough. I pretty much wait until he is asleep and luckily he is finally staying asleep for about 5 hours at a time at night. I kind of expected to be in better shape at this point.

Day 6  I did Burn Intervals today. Still loving it.

Day 7  Another rest day? 2 a week? I somehow missed this little piece of information when I started the program. It has me thinking if I could add a little Brazil Butt Lift in the mix. Friends that are doing it are having great results.

Day 8  I was supposed to do Burn Circuit 1 tonight, but I had to have a filling done at the dentist and I swear the stuff they injected in my cheek knocked me out. I fell asleep the moment I got home. The night went downhill from there. A thunderstorm started and lasted all night, the baby had a coughing fit during the night which made him throw up, I was up at 3 AM showering only to go back to bed to a baby who only wanted to sleep if I was holding him. Nothing I could do but sleep sitting up holding the little guy. So never did fit in the workout. Rest day came 1 day early!

Ready to begin

Summer is almost here and I only have 1 goal in mind....a 6 pack...abs of steel...the real deal.  Right now I'm on vacation and admittedly not focused on nutrition and fitness, but on Monday I will begin a new time of focus in my life.

So why is this so important to me?
1.  I have a baby boy now and he watches everything I do.  Even at only 4 months he is taking in all of my words and actions and becoming a product of who I am.  I want for him to be healthy and enjoy being active.  I want it to be a normal part of his life not something he has to do later to correct the sins of his past.
2.  I want to be around for a very long time.  I want to be able to keep up with him and be a part of his life.
3.  I want more kids....well, just in case my husband reads this at least 1 more kid and in all honesty not working at preventing them.  (but he knows that part..LOL)  So the pressure is on to get these abs set before a bun inhabits this oven once again.

Why abs?
They require good nutrition and training.  Not one or the other, but both!  I don't feel the need to lose weight specifically, just want to be more toned and have some definition.

I will be using Shakeology and Chalean Extreme as part of my nutrition and fitness tools.  You can check out the links below if you want to know more or just ask me!

I will post pictures and measurements along the way and probably a video or 2.

I would love to see your transformations too and know what is working for you.

My goal is to look great in this dress!  My 10 year anniversary is in August so this would be perfect :)
